Valentine's Sunday

February 14, 2016

Happy Valentine's Day! I know not everyone is a fan of Valentine's, but whether you're paired up or alone, I think it's a great excuse to treat yourself and the ones you love.

For me, today has mainly been about relaxing and spending time with Richard. This morning seems to have gone so quickly but I'm really looking forward to this evening too. I was treated to a few goodies from Lush so I plan to run myself a bath, light a candle, spend an hour or so reading Harry Potter, and then painting my nails with Essie's Not Just A Pretty Face before tucking into a feast of homemade roast dinner. For a sweet treat afterwards I can't wait to dig into the cute heart shaped biscuit and my new box of Booja Booja truffles which I'm beyond obsessed with! I think I may also try to persuade Rich to watch The Notebook with me (for around the hundredth time) because I'm a sucker for soppy films, and well, Ryan Gosling is in it...enough said.

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend, if only Monday wouldn't appear again so soon...

  6. I saw a movie (deadpool) early Sunday to avoid the Valentine's crowd and just stayed home and relaxed the rest of the day. So nice! You can't go wrong with The Notebook :)
